Section 23 — A pure mind practicing good淨心行善分第二十三
Jingang Jing (The Diamond Sutra) Complete in one volume "All marks that exist are empty and false" — a sutra that teaches one to give rise to the mind without dwelling anywhere. It follows, just as they stand, the thirty-two sections into which Prince Zhaoming divided it. It is told that Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch, heard one line of this sutra and set his heart on awakening.
1This Dharma Is Level, With No High or Low
"Furthermore, Subhuti! This Dharma is level, with nothing high and nothing low, and that is only the name anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. With no self, no person, no being, no life span, cultivate every good dharma, and anuttara-samyak-sambodhi is attained. Subhuti! What is called a good dharma the Tathagata says is not a good dharma; that is only its name."
