The two books of the age of the gods set the differing versions of one myth side by side, each opened with “one account has it thus”, so that the stories that disagree are not hidden away. Accounts touching Baekje, Silla, Goguryeo and Imna stand at 1,379 places, which makes it also the book with the most to set beside the Korean histories.
