1King Biyu ascends the throne
毗有王,久尒辛王之長子。美姿貌,有口辯,人所推重,久尒辛王薨,卽位。
King Biyu (毗有王) was the eldest son of King Guisin. He was fair of face and form and ready of speech, and people put him forward and held him in high regard. When King Guisin died, he ascended the throne.

Some say he was a son of King Jeonji by a secondary wife, and which is right is not known.
2The second year — the four parts are visited and comforted
二年,春二月,王巡撫四部,賜貧乏穀有差。倭國使至,從者五十人。
In the second year, in spring, the second month, the king went round the four parts and comforted them, and he gave grain in differing measure to the poor and the needy. An envoy of the country of Wa came, and those who followed him were fifty men.
3The third year — Haesu is made sangjwapyeong
三年,秋,遣使入宋朝貢。冬十月,上佐平餘信卒,以解須爲上佐平。十一月,地震,大風飛瓦。十二月,無氷。
In the third year, in autumn, an envoy was sent into Song to offer tribute. In winter, the tenth month, Yeosin the sangjwapyeong died, and Haesu was made sangjwapyeong. In the eleventh month the earth shook, and a great wind blew and sent the roof tiles flying. In the twelfth month no ice formed.
4The fourth year — a title is given to the former king Jeonji
四年,夏四月,宋文皇帝以王復修職貢,降使冊授前王腆支爵號。
In the fourth year, in summer, the fourth month, Emperor Wen of Song, because the king had taken up again the tribute due from his office, sent down an envoy and granted by patent a title to the former king Jeonji.

In the twelfth year of King Jeonji, Eastern Jin gave him a patent, making him commissioner bearing the tally, commander of all military affairs of Baekje, general who guards the east, and King of Baekje.
5The seventh year — peace is asked of Silla
七年,春夏不雨。秋七月,遣使入新羅,請和。
In the seventh year no rain fell in spring or in summer. In autumn, the seventh month, an envoy was sent into Silla to ask for peace.
6The eighth year — gifts pass between Baekje and Silla
八年,春二月,遣使新羅,送良馬二匹。秋九月,又送白鷹。冬十月,新羅報聘以良金、明珠。
In the eighth year, in spring, the second month, an envoy was sent to Silla with two good horses. In autumn, the ninth month, a white hawk was sent as well. In winter, the tenth month, Silla gave back the visit with fine gold and bright pearls.
7The fourteenth year — tribute is offered to Song
十四年,夏四月戊午朔,日有食之。冬十月,遣使入宋朝貢。
In the fourteenth year, in summer, the fourth month, on the first day, a muo day, the sun was eclipsed. In winter, the tenth month, an envoy was sent into Song to offer tribute.
8The twenty-first year — fire rises in the middle of the pond
二十一年,夏五月,宮南池中有火,焰如車輪,終夜而滅。秋七月,旱,穀不熟,民饑,流入新羅者多。
In the twenty-first year, in summer, the fifth month, there was fire in the middle of the pond south of the palace, and the flames were like cart wheels, and it burned all night and then went out. In autumn, the seventh month, there was a drought and the grain did not ripen, and the people were starving, and many drifted away into Silla.
9The twenty-eighth year — stars fall like rain
二十八年,星隕如雨,星孛于西北,長二丈許。秋八月,蝗害穀,年饑。
In the twenty-eighth year stars fell like rain, and a comet appeared in the northwest, about two jang long. In autumn, the eighth month, locusts harmed the grain, and the year was lean.
10The twenty-ninth year — King Biyu dies
二十九年,春三月,王獵於漢山。秋九月,黑龍見漢江,須臾雲霧晦冥飛去。王薨。
In the twenty-ninth year, in spring, the third month, the king hunted at Hansan. In autumn, the ninth month, a black dragon appeared in the Han River, and in a moment the clouds and the mist grew dark and it flew away. The king died.
