Samguk Sagi (History of the Three Kingdoms)三國史記

Kim Busik and others · 1145 (Goryeo, 23rd year of King Injong) · Korea · 193 volumes · 175,654 Chinese characters

The oldest surviving history of Korea. It is made up of the annals of Silla, Goguryeo and Baekje, together with the treatises, the tables and the biographies. Kim Busik set his own judgments here and there in passages marked as his comment, so what the compiler doubted and what he rebuked stands there still.

All entries fully translated — 193 entries from the Basic Annals, the Miscellaneous Treatises and the Biographies (2,349 paragraphs, 175,654 graphs, 370 notes). Kim Busik's 29 historical judgments are marked. The chronological tables (volumes 29–31) are tables, so they are left out of the entries for reading aloud (handled as the Royal Chronology is).
