King Munju文周王
1King Munju ascends the throne and moves the capital to Ungjin
文周王，蓋鹵王之子也。初，毗有王薨，蓋鹵嗣位，文周輔之。位至上佐平蓋鹵在位二十一年，高句麗來侵，圍漢城。蓋鹵嬰城自固，使文周求救於新羅，得兵一萬廻。麗兵雖退，城破王死，遂卽位。性柔不斷，而亦愛民，百姓愛之。冬十月，移都於熊津。
King Munju (文周王) was the son of King Gaero. At the first, when King Biyu died and Gaero came to the throne, Munju helped him, and his office reached that of sangjwapyeong.
Gaero had been on the throne twenty-one years when Goguryeo came to raid and surrounded Hanseong. Gaero held the walls and made himself firm, and he sent Munju to seek help from Silla. Munju got ten thousand troops and came back. The troops of Goguryeo drew off, but the walls were broken and the king was dead, and so Munju ascended the throne.
He was gentle in nature and could not bring himself to decide, yet he also loved the people, and the people loved him. In winter, the tenth month, he moved the capital to Ungjin.

2The second year — Haegu is made byeonggwan jwapyeong
二年，春二月，修葺大豆山城，移漢北民戶。三月，遣使朝宋，高句麗塞路，不達而還。夏四月，耽羅國獻方物，王喜，拜使者為恩率。秋八月，拜解仇為兵官佐平。
In the second year, in spring, the second month, Daedusanseong was repaired, and the households north of the Han River were moved there. In the third month an envoy was sent to pay court to Song, but Goguryeo blocked the road, and he came back without arriving.
In summer, the fourth month, the country of Tamna offered the products of its region, and the king was glad and made the envoy an eunsol. In autumn, the eighth month, Haegu was made byeonggwan jwapyeong.
3The third year — Gonji is made naesin jwapyeong
三年，春二月，重修宮室。夏四月，拜王弟昆支為內臣佐平，封長子三斤為太子。五月，黑龍見熊津。秋七月，內臣佐平昆支卒。
In the third year, in spring, the second month, the palace halls were built anew. In summer, the fourth month, the king's younger brother Gonji was made naesin jwapyeong, and his eldest son Samgeun was invested as crown prince. In the fifth month a black dragon appeared at Ungjin. In autumn, the seventh month, Gonji the naesin jwapyeong died.
4The fourth year — Haegu kills the king
四年，秋八月，兵官佐平解仇，擅權亂法，有無君之心，王不能制。九月，王出獵，宿於外，解仇使盜害之，遂薨。
In the fourth year, in autumn, the eighth month, Haegu the byeonggwan jwapyeong used power as he pleased and threw the law into confusion, and he had a heart that made nothing of his ruler, but the king could not hold him down. In the ninth month the king went out to hunt and lodged outside, and Haegu sent robbers to harm him, and so he died.
