The Country of Poluoximobuluo婆羅吸摩補羅國
婆羅吸摩補羅國周四千餘里，山周四境。國大都城周二十餘里。居人殷盛，家室富饒。土地沃壤，稼穡時播，出鍮石、水精。氣序微寒，風俗剛猛。少學藝，多逐利。人性獷烈，邪正雜信。伽藍五所，僧徒寡少。天祠十餘所，異道雜居。
The country of Poluoximobuluo is more than four thousand li around, and mountains ring its four borders. The great capital city of the country is more than twenty li around. Those who live there are many and prosperous, and the households are rich. The soil is fat and rich, sowing and reaping are done each in its season, and the land yields brass and crystal. The climate is a little cold, and the customs are hard and fierce. Few study and learn, and many follow gain. The nature of the people is rough and harsh, and they believe in the false and the true mixed together. There are five monasteries, and the monks are few. There are more than ten temples of the gods, and followers of other ways live mixed among them.
2The Eastern Women's Country — The Land Where a Woman Is King
此國境北大雪山中，有蘇伐剌拿瞿呾羅國，出上黃金，故以名焉。東西長，南北狹，即東女國也。世以女為王，因以女稱國。夫亦為王，不知政事。丈夫唯征伐、田種而已。土宜宿麥，多畜羊馬。氣候寒烈，人性躁暴。東接吐蕃國，北接於闐國，西接三波訶國。
In the Great Snow Mountains north of the border of this country there is the country of Sufalanaqudaluo. It yields fine gold, and so it is named. It is long from east to west and narrow from north to south, and it is the Eastern Women's Country. Age after age a woman is made the ruler, and for this reason the country is called by the name of woman. The husband is a king as well, but he knows nothing of government. The men only make war and till the fields. The land is fit for winter wheat, and they keep many sheep and horses. The climate is bitterly cold, and the nature of the people is hasty and violent. On the east it touches the country of Tufan, on the north the country of Yutian, and on the west the country of Sanbohe.
