15The Three Minds Cannot Be Grasped
The Buddha said to Subhuti, "The Tathagata knows every kind of mind in all the beings of all those lands. Why is this? Because all the minds the Tathagata speaks of are not minds; that is only their name. And how is that so? Subhuti! Because the mind that is past cannot be grasped, the mind that is present cannot be grasped, and the mind that is to come cannot be grasped."
