The Bongi says, "The High Lord Hwanin had a son by a secondary consort, called Ung, and so on. He said to him, 'Go down to Samwi Taebaek, and you may greatly benefit the human world.' So Ung received the three heavenly seals, led three thousand spirits, and came down beneath the sacred dan tree on the summit of Mount Taebaek, and he is called Danung Cheonwang, and so on." He had his granddaughter drink a medicine so that she took a human body, and she married the god of the dan tree and bore a son, and his name was Dangun. He held the land of Joseon and became its king. For this reason Sira, that is Silla, and Gorye, that is Goguryeo, and the southern and northern Okjeo, and the northeastern Buyeo, and Ye and Maek are all the descendants of Dangun. He ruled one thousand and thirty-eight years, then entered Mount Asadal and became a god, for he did not die.
皆檀君之壽也 — the base text writes 「壽」, which does not read as it stands, and it is taken here as "descendants." ― translator
