King Soseong昭聖王
1King Soseong ascends the throne
昭聖王立。諱俊邕。元聖王太子仁謙之子也。母，金氏；妃，金氏桂花夫人，大阿飡叔明女也。元聖大王元年，封子仁謙爲太子，至七年卒元聖養其子於宮中。五年，奉使大唐，受位大阿飡。六年，以波珍飡爲宰相；七年爲侍中；八年爲兵部令；十一年爲太子，及元聖薨，繼位。
King Soseong ascended the throne. His name was Junong (俊邕), and he was the son of Ingyeom, the crown prince of King Wonseong. His mother was of the Kim clan, and his queen was Lady Gyehwa of the Kim clan, the daughter of Sukmyeong, of the rank of daeachan.
In the first year of King Wonseong the Great, the king's son Ingyeom was invested as crown prince, but by the seventh year he had died, and Wonseong reared his son inside the palace. In the fifth year he went as an envoy to the great Tang and received the rank of daeachan. In the sixth year, as pajinchan, he became prime minister. In the seventh year he became sijung, in the eighth year byeongburyeong, and in the eleventh year crown prince; and when Wonseong died, he succeeded to the throne.

2First year — a ginseng nine cheok long is presented
元年，春三月，以菁州居老縣爲學生祿邑。冷井縣令廉哲進白鹿。夏五月，追封考惠忠太子爲惠忠大王。牛頭州都督遣使奏言：「有異獸若牛，身長且高，尾長三尺許，無毛長鼻，自峴城川，向烏食壤去。」秋七月，得人蔘九尺，甚異之，遣使如唐進奉，德宗謂非人蔘，不受。八月，追封母金氏爲聖穆太后。漢山州獻白烏。
In the first year, in spring, the third month, Georo county in Cheongju was made a stipend estate for students. Yeomcheol, the magistrate of Naengjeong county, presented a white deer.
In summer, the fifth month, the king's father, the crown prince Hyechung, was given after his death the title of King Hyechung the Great. The governor of Uduju sent an envoy to report: "There is a strange beast like an ox. Its body is long and also tall, its tail is about three cheok long, it has no hair, and its nose is long. It came from the Hyeonseong river and went off toward Osikyang."
In autumn, the seventh month, a ginseng nine cheok long was found, and it was thought very strange, so an envoy was sent into Tang to present it; but Dezong said it was not ginseng and did not receive it.
In the eighth month the king's mother, of the Kim clan, was given after her death the title of Grand Queen Seongmok. Hansanju presented a white crow.
3Second year — King Soseong dies
二年，春正月，封妃金氏爲王后，以忠芬爲侍中。夏四月，暴風折木蜚瓦，瑞蘭殿簾，飛不知處，臨海、仁化二門壞。六月，封王子爲太子。王薨，諡曰昭聖。
In the second year, in spring, the first month, the king's consort of the Kim clan was invested as queen, and Chungbun was made sijung.
In summer, the fourth month, a violent wind broke trees and blew tiles about. The blind of Seoran hall flew away, and no one knew where it went, and the two gates Imhae and Inhwa fell down. In the sixth month the king's son was invested as crown prince. The king died, and his posthumous name was given as Soseong (昭聖).
