2Second year — he bids them set up his younger sister Man
In the second year, in spring, the first month, the hundred high seats were set out at Hwangnyongsa, and he went there himself and listened to the expounding. Kim Yo the ichan of Hanju revolted, and soldiers were sent out and he was cut down.
In summer, the fifth month, the king fell sick, and he said to Junheung the sijung, "My sickness is grave. I shall surely not rise again. Unluckily I have no son to follow me. But my younger sister Man (曼) is bright and keen in her natural gifts, and the frame of her bones is like a man's. You lords ought to take the old affairs of Seondeok and Jindeok for your model and set her up. That will be right."
In autumn, on the fifth day of the seventh month, he died. He was given the posthumous name Jeonggang (定康), and he was buried southeast of Borisa.
