Within the Seas: East海內東經
海內東北陬以南者。
These are the things from the northeastern corner within the seas southward.
鉅燕在東北陬。
Juyan lies in the northeastern corner.
蓋國在鉅燕南，倭北。倭屬燕。朝鮮在列陽東，海北山南。列陽屬燕。
The land of Gae lies south of Juyan and north of the Wa. The Wa belong to Yan. Joseon lies east of Lieyang, north of the sea and south of the mountains. Lieyang belongs to Yan.

Some texts write, "The lands that lie within the Liusha are Zhunduan and Xirong, and they lie southeast of Kunlunxu. One account says they are districts within the seas that were never made into commanderies and counties, and that they lie within the Liusha."

Some texts write, "The lands that lie beyond the Liusha are Daxia, Shusha, Juyao, and the land of Yuezhi."
列姑射在海河州中。
Liegushe lies within the river island in the sea.

Some texts write, "Mount Baiyu of the Western Hu lies east of Daxia, and Cangwu lies southwest of Mount Baiyu. All of them lie west of the Liusha and southeast of Kunlunxu. Mount Kunlun lies west of the Western Hu, and all of them lie in the northwest."
雷澤中有雷神，龍身而人頭，鼓其腹。在吳西。
In the marsh of Leize there is the thunder god. He has the body of a dragon and the head of a man, and he drums on his own belly. He lies west of Wu.
都州在海中。一曰郁州。
Duzhou lies in the sea. One account calls it Yuzhou.
琅邪臺在渤海閒，琅邪之東。其北有山。一曰在海閒。
The terrace of Langya lies between the waters of Bohai, east of Langya. To its north there is a mountain. One account says it lies between the seas.
韓鴈在海中，都州南。
Han'an lies in the sea, south of Duzhou.
始鳩在海中，轅厲南。
Shijiu lies in the sea, south of Yuanli.
會稽山在大楚南。
Mount Kuaiji lies south of great Chu.
岷三江：首江出汶山，北江曼山，南江出高山。高山在都，西入海，在長州南。
These are the three rivers of Min. The first river rises from Mount Wen, the northern river from Mount Man, and the southern river from Mount Gao. Mount Gao is at Du, and the river enters the sea to the west, south of Changzhou.
淅江出三天子，都在東，在閩西北，入海，餘暨南。
The Xi River rises from Santianzi. Du is to the east, and it lies northwest of Min. It enters the sea south of Yuji.
廬江出三天子，都入江，彭澤西，一曰天子鄣。
The Lu River rises from Santianzi. Du enters the river, west of Pengze. One account calls it Tianzizhang.
淮水出餘山，餘山在朝陽東，義鄉西，入海，淮浦北。
The Huai River rises from Mount Yu. Mount Yu lies east of Zhaoyang and west of Yixiang. The river enters the sea north of Huaipu.
湘水出舜葬東南陬，西環之，入洞庭下，一曰東南西澤。
The Xiang River rises from the southeastern corner of the burial place of Shun, rings it to the west, and enters below Dongting. One account calls it the western marsh to the southeast.
漢水出鮒魚之山，帝顓頊葬于陽，九嬪葬于陰，四蛇衛之。
The Han River rises from Mount Fuyu. Zhuanxu is buried on its south side and his nine consorts on its north side, and four snakes guard them.
濛水出漢陽，西入江，聶陽西。
The Meng River rises from Hanyang and enters the river to the west, west of Nieyang.
溫水出崆峒山，在臨汾，南入灑，華陽北。
The Wen River rises from Mount Kongtong, which is at Linfen, and enters the Sa to the south, north of Huayang.
潁水出少室，少室山在雍氏，南入淮，西鄢北。一曰緱氏。
The Ying River rises from Shaoshi. Mount Shaoshi is at Yongshi, and the river enters the Huai to the south, north of Xiyan. One account calls it Goushi.
汝水出天息山，在梁勉鄉，西南入淮，極西北。一曰淮在期思北。
The Ru River rises from Mount Tianxi, which is at Mianxiang in Liang, and enters the Huai to the southwest, northwest of Ji. One account says the Huai lies north of Qisi.
涇水出長城北山，山在郁致，長垣北，北入謂戲北。
The Jing River rises from the northern mountain of the Great Wall. The mountain lies at Yuzhi, north of Changyuan. The river enters the Wei to the north, north of Xi.
渭水出烏鼠同穴山，東注河，入華陰北。
The Wei River rises from Mount Wushu Tongxue and flows east into the Yellow River, north of Huayin.
白水出蜀，而東南注江。入江州城下。
The Bai River rises from Shu and flows southeast into the river. It enters below the walls of Jiangzhou.
沅水山出象郡，鐔城西。入東注江，入下雋西，合洞庭中。
The mountain of the Yuan River rises west of Xincheng in Xiang commandery. The river flows east into the great river, enters west of Xiajuan, and joins it within Dongting.
贑水出聶都東山，東北注江，入彭澤。
The Gan River rises from the eastern mountain of Niedu and flows northeast into the great river, entering Pengze.
西泗水出吳東北而南、西南，過湖陵西而東南，注東海，入淮陰北。
The Western Si River rises northeast of Wu, goes south and then southwest, passes west of Huling, and then goes southeast into the Eastern Sea, north of Huaiyin.
鬱水出象郡而西南，注南海，入須陵東南。
The Yu River rises from Xiang commandery and goes southwest into the Southern Sea, southeast of Xuling.
肆水出臨晉，西南而東南注海，入番隅西。
The Si River rises from Linjin, goes southwest and then southeast into the sea, west of Panyu.
潢水出桂陽西北山，東南注肆水，入敦浦西。
The Huang River rises from the northwestern mountain of Guiyang and flows southeast into the Si River, west of Dunpu.
洛水出洛西山，東北注河，入成臯之西。
The Luo River rises from Mount Luoxi and flows northeast into the Yellow River, west of Chenggao.
汾水出上窳北，而西南注河，入皮氏南。
The Fen River rises north of Shangyu and flows southwest into the Yellow River, south of Pishi.
沁水出井陘山東，東南注河，入懷東南。
The Qin River rises east of Mount Jingxing and flows southeast into the Yellow River, southeast of Huai.
濟水出共山南東丘，絕鉅鹿澤，注渤海，入齊琅槐東北。
The Ji River rises from Dongqiu south of Mount Gong, cuts across the marsh of Julu, and flows into Bohai, northeast of Langhuai in Qi.
潦水出衛臯東，東南注渤海，入遼陽。
The Liao River rises east of Weigao and flows southeast into Bohai, entering at Liaoyang.

It rises from Mount Weigao beyond the frontier. In Goguryeo county of Xuantu there is Mount Liao, where the Lesser Liao River rises, and it enters the Great Liao at the Xi River. It has the same sound as 遼.

Liaoyang county belongs to Liaodong.
虖沲水出晉陽城南，而西至陽曲北，而東注渤海，入越章武北。
The Hutuo River rises south of the walled city of Jinyang, runs west as far as north of Yangqu, and then flows east into Bohai, entering north of Zhangwu in Yue.

It passes Lecheng in Hejian and flows northeast into Bohai. Jinyang and Yangqu county both belong to Taiyuan.
章武，郡名
Zhangwu is the name of a commandery.

The Zhang River rises east of Shanyang and flows east into Bohai, south of Zhangwu.

The lingyu has a human face, hands and feet, and the body of a fish. It lies in the sea.

The market of the Daren lies in the sea.

In the fourth month of the first year of Jianping, on the day bingxu, Wang, a subject in attendance on command in the office of the Chamberlain for Ceremonials, collated and corrected it. Gong, a subject serving as Palace Attendant and Superintendent of the Imperial Household, and Xiu, a subject serving as Palace Attendant, Commandant of the Imperial Equipages, and Grandee of the Palace, took charge and examined it.
