Song Shu Yiman Zhuan (Accounts of the Yi and Man Peoples in the Book of Song) Complete in one volume The neighbours across the sea as the Song of the Southern dynasties saw them. Here are the tribute of Go Ryeon, King Jangsu of Goguryeo, and the affair of Feng Hong; the notice of Baekje taking Liaoxi; the memorials of the five kings of Wa — Chan, Jin, Je, Heung and Mu; and the memorials that the many kingdoms of the Southern Sea sent up out of their faith in the Buddha, down to Huilin's Treatise on Equal Goodness — the record of the sea roads of the fifth century.

1The kingdom of Pohuang

In the twenty-sixth year of Yuanjia, Shelipoluobamo, king of the country, sent an envoy and offered forty-one kinds of local products, and Taizu invested him as king of the kingdom of Pohuang: "You look up to our government from a border city, and you lead in tribute and come to our court. The favor of the emperor is spread wide, and there is no place so hidden that it does not reach. It is fitting that the statutes be published and this fair command granted. Do you reverently follow rite and measure and keep it to the end. Can you fail to be careful?" In the twenty-eighth year he sent tribute again. In the third year of Xiaojian under Shizu he again sent his chief clerk Zhu Napozhi with a memorial and local products, and Napozhi was made general of Rousing Awe. In the third year of Daming he offered red and white parrots. In the eighth year of Daming, and in the second year of Taishi under Taizong, he again sent envoys with tribute. Taizong made his chief clerk Zhu Xuluoda and the former chief clerk Zhu Napozhi, general of Rousing Awe, both generals of the Soaring Dragon.
