1The country of Lampa

Again from this country of Gandhara I went west into the mountains for seven days and reached the country of Lampa (覽波國). This country has no king but a great chief, and it belongs under the rule of the country of Gandhara. The dress and the speech are like those of the country of Gandhara. Here too there are monasteries and there are monks, and they revere and believe in the Three Jewels and practise the Law of the Great Vehicle.
