The Country of Bofaduo缽伐多國
缽伐多國周五千餘里，國大都城周二十餘里。居人殷盛，役屬磔迦國。多旱稻，宜宿麥。氣序調適，風俗質直，人性躁急，言含鄙辭。學藝深博，邪正雜信。伽藍十餘所，僧徒千餘人。大小二乘，兼功習學。四窣堵波，無憂王之所建也。天祠二十，異道雜居。
The country of Bofaduo is more than five thousand li around. The great capital city of the country is more than twenty li around. The people who live there are many and thriving, and the country is subject to the country of Zhejia. Dry upland rice is plentiful, and the land suits winter wheat. The seasons are even and mild, and the customs are plain and straight. The nature of the people is hasty and quick, and coarse words are mixed into their speech. Their learning and their arts are deep and wide, and they believe in the false and the true together. There are more than ten monasteries and more than a thousand monks, and they work at both the Greater Vehicle and the Lesser Vehicle and study them through. The four stupas were built by King Wuyou. There are twenty temples of the gods, and followers of other ways live mixed among them.
2The monastery where Shennafudaluo made his treatise
城側有大伽藍，僧徒百餘人，並學大乘教。即是昔慎那弗呾羅論師子此制《瑜伽師地釋論》，亦是賢愛論師、德光論師本出家處。此大伽藍為天火所燒，摧殘荒圮。
Beside the city there is a great monastery with more than a hundred monks, and all of them study the teaching of the Greater Vehicle. This is the place where long ago the master of treatises Shennafudaluo made the Yujia shidi shi lun, and it is also the place where the master of treatises Xian'ai and the master of treatises Deguang first left their homes. This great monastery was burned by fire from heaven, and it is broken and waste and fallen in.
