宕昌國,在河南之東南,益州之西北,隴西之西,羌種也。宋孝武世,其王梁瓘忽始獻方物。天監四年,王梁彌博來獻甘草、當歸,詔以爲使持節、都督河、涼二州諸軍事、安西將軍、東羌校尉、河、涼二州刺史、隴西公、宕昌王,佩以金章。彌博死,子彌泰立;大同七年,復授以父爵位。其衣服、風俗與河南略同。
The kingdom of Dangchang (宕昌) lies southeast of Henan, northwest of Yizhou and west of Longxi, and its people are a branch of the Qiang. In the age of Emperor Xiaowu of Song its king Liang Guanhu first offered the products of his country. In the fourth year of Tianjian its king Liang Mibo came and offered licorice and danggui root, and by edict he was made Commissioner Bearing the Tally, Governor of All Military Affairs of the two provinces of He and Liang, General Who Quiets the West, Colonel of the Eastern Qiang, Inspector of the two provinces of He and Liang, Duke of Longxi and King of Dangchang, and he was girded with a gold seal (金章). Mibo died and his son Mitai ascended the throne, and in the seventh year of Datong the rank and title of his father were given him again. Their clothing and their customs are much the same as those of Henan.
