Liang Shu Zhuyi Zhuan (Accounts of the Various Foreign Peoples in the Book of Liang) Complete in one volume Thirty-six kingdoms as the Liang of the Southern dynasties saw them. The memorial in which King Muryeong of Baekje announced that his land had become a strong kingdom once more; the record in which Silla first appears under its own name; the tale of the Buddha's hair and the stupa of King Ashoka; and the legends from the far end of the sea, of Fusang and the Kingdom of Women — from the Southern Sea to the Western Regions, this is the broadest of all the accounts of the various foreign peoples.

The kingdom of Wuxing (武興) was Chouchi (仇池) at the first. Yang Nandang set himself up and called himself King of Qin, and Emperor Wen of Song sent Pei Fangming to strike him, and Nandang fled to Wei. Wende, the son of Nandang's elder brother, then gathered a host at Jialu, and Song gave him rank and title as he was, but Wei struck him too and Wende fled to Hanzhong. Sengsi, his cousin, then set himself up and again held the garrison at Jialu, and he died. Wendu, the younger brother of Wende, ascended the throne, and he made his younger brother Wenhong Governor of Baishui and set him to hold Wuxing, and in the age of Song he was made King of Wudu. The kingdom of Wuxing begins from this. Guangxiang, a kinsman of Nandang, then struck Wendu and killed him, and set himself up as King of Yinping and master of the garrison of Jialu. He died, and his son Jiong (炅) ascended the throne. Jiong died, and his son Chongzu ascended the throne. Chongzu died, and his son Mengsun ascended the throne. In the Yongming years of Qi, Yang Lingzhen, Inspector of Southern Liang province and Duke of Chouchi under the house of Wei, held Mount Nigong and came over in submission, and in the age of Qi, Lingzhen was made Inspector of Northern Liang province and Duke of Chouchi. When Wenhong died, Jishi, a man of his kin, was made Inspector of Northern Qin province and King of Wudu. At the beginning of Tianjian, Jishi was made Commissioner Bearing the Tally, Governor of All Military Affairs of the two provinces of Qin and Yong, General Who Upholds the State, Colonel Who Pacifies the Qiang, Inspector of Northern Qin province and King of Wudu; Lingzhen was made General of the Van; and Mengsun was made Acting Bearer of the Tally, Governor and Inspector of Sha province and King of Yinping. Jishi died and his son Shaoxian took over his rank and title. In the second year, Lingzhen was made Bearer of the Tally, Governor of All Military Affairs of Longyou, General of the Left, Inspector of Northern Liang province and King of Chouchi. In the tenth year Mengsun died, and by edict he was given after his death the titles of General Who Quiets Sha and Inspector of Northern Yong province, and his son Ding (定) took over the fief and the title. Shaoxian died and his son Zhihui ascended the throne. In the first year of Datong, when Hanzhong had been recovered, Zhihui sent an envoy to send up a memorial and ask to lead four thousand households back into the empire, and by edict this was allowed, and that land was straightway made Eastern Yi province.
