Girim Isageum基臨尼師今
1Girim Isageum ascends the throne
基臨尼師今立，助賁尼師今之孫也。父乞淑伊飡，性寬厚，人皆稱之。
Girim Isageum ascended the throne. He was a grandson of Jobun Isageum. His father was Geolsuk, of the rank of ichan. He was generous and warm in nature, and everyone praised him.

2Second year — Jangheun is given charge of military affairs
二年，春正月，拜長昕爲伊飡，兼知內外兵馬事。二月，祀始祖廟。
In the second year, in spring, the first month, Jangheun was made ichan and given charge as well of military affairs within and without. In the second month sacrifice was made at the shrine of the founder.

三年，春正月，與倭國交聘。二月，巡幸比列忽，親
In the third year, in spring, the first month, envoys passed to and from the state of Wa (倭國). In the second month he went to Biyeolhol and himself
4Third year — Nangnang and Daebang come over in surrender
問高年及貧窮者，賜穀有差。三月，至牛頭州，望祭太白山。樂浪、帶方兩國歸服。
asked after those advanced in years and those in want, and gave them grain, each according to his case. In the third month he came to Uduju and made sacrifice toward Taebaeksan from afar. The two states of Nangnang (樂浪) and Daebang (帶方) came over in surrender.
5Fifth year — drought
五年，春、夏旱。
In the fifth year there was drought in spring and summer.
6Seventh year — earthquakes
七年，秋八月，地震。泉湧。九月，京都地震，壞民屋有死者。
In the seventh year, in autumn, the eighth month, the earth shook and springs welled up. In the ninth month the earth shook in the capital. The houses of the people fell down, and some were killed.
7Tenth year — the name of the country is again Silla
十年，復國號新羅。
In the tenth year the name of the country was again made Silla (新羅).
8Thirteenth year — the king dies
十三年，夏五月，王寢疾彌留，赦內外獄囚。六月，王薨。
In the thirteenth year, in summer, the fifth month, the king took to his bed and did not mend for a long while, so the prisoners held in the jails within the capital and without were pardoned. In the sixth month the king died.
