King Anwon安原王
1King Anwon ascends the throne
安原王，諱寶延，安藏王之弟也。身長七尺五寸，有大量，安藏愛友之。安藏在位十三年，薨，無嗣子，故卽位。梁高祖下詔襲爵。
King Anwon's name was Boyeon (寶延), and he was the younger brother of King Anjang. He was seven cheok five chon tall and was large of mind, and King Anjang loved him as a brother. King Anjang was on the throne thirteen years and died, and he had no son to follow him, and so Boyeon ascended the throne. Gaozu of Liang sent down an edict letting him succeed to the rank.
2The second year — Wei invests the king
二年，春三月，魏帝詔策使持節散騎常侍領護東夷校尉遼東郡開國公高句麗王，賜衣冠、車旗之飾。夏四月，遣使入梁朝貢。六月，遣使入魏朝貢。冬十一月，遣使入梁朝貢。
In the second year, in spring, the third month, the emperor of Wei by edict invested him as Commissioner Bearing the Tally, Cavalier Attendant-in-Ordinary, Commandant in Charge of the Eastern Yi, Duke of the Commandery of Liaodong, and King of Goguryeo, and gave him robes and a cap and ornaments for his carriage and his banners. In summer, the fourth month, an envoy was sent to enter Liang and bring tribute. In the sixth month an envoy was sent to enter Wei and bring tribute. In winter, the eleventh month, an envoy was sent to enter Liang and bring tribute.
3The third year — Pyeongseong is made crown prince
三年，春正月，立王子平成為太子。二月，遣使入魏朝貢。
In the third year, in spring, the first month, the prince Pyeongseong was set up as crown prince. In the second month an envoy was sent to enter Wei and bring tribute.
4The fourth year — Eastern Wei adds the title of Great General of Agile Cavalry
四年，東魏詔加王驃騎大將軍，餘悉如故。遣使入魏朝貢。
In the fourth year Eastern Wei by edict added to the king the title of Great General of Agile Cavalry, and left all the rest as it was before. An envoy was sent to enter Wei and bring tribute.
5The fifth year — a great flood in the south of the country
五年，春二月，遣使入梁朝貢。夏五月，國南大水，漂沒民屋，死者二百餘人。冬十月，地震。十二月，雷，大疫。
In the fifth year, in spring, the second month, an envoy was sent to enter Liang and bring tribute. In summer, the fifth month, there was a great flood in the south of the country. The houses of the people were swept away and sunk, and more than two hundred people died. In winter, the tenth month, the earth shook. In the twelfth month it thundered, and a great plague went about.
6The sixth year — a great drought
六年，春夏，大旱。發使撫恤饑民。秋八月，蝗。遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the sixth year, in spring and summer, there was a great drought. Envoys were sent out to comfort and care for the hungry people. In autumn, the eighth month, there were locusts. An envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
7The seventh year — the king goes about giving relief
七年，春三月，民饑，王巡撫賑救。冬十二月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the seventh year, in spring, the third month, the people were hungry, and the king went about comforting them and giving relief. In winter, the twelfth month, an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
8The ninth year — tribute is sent to Eastern Wei
九年，夏五月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the ninth year, in summer, the fifth month, an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
9The tenth year — Baekje surrounds Usanseong
十年，秋九月，百濟圍牛山城，王遣精騎五千，擊走之。冬十月，桃李華。十二月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the tenth year, in autumn, the ninth month, Baekje surrounded Usanseong, and the king sent five thousand picked horsemen, who struck them and drove them off. In winter, the tenth month, the peach and the plum came into flower. In the twelfth month an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
10The eleventh year — tribute is sent to Liang
十一年，春三月，遣使入梁朝貢。
In the eleventh year, in spring, the third month, an envoy was sent to enter Liang and bring tribute.
11The twelfth year — a great wind pulls up trees
十二年，春三月，大風拔木飛瓦。夏四月，雹。冬十二月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the twelfth year, in spring, the third month, a great wind blew, pulling up trees and sending roof tiles flying. In summer, the fourth month, hail fell. In winter, the twelfth month, an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
12The thirteenth year — tribute is sent to Eastern Wei
十三年，冬十一月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the thirteenth year, in winter, the eleventh month, an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
13The fourteenth year — tribute is sent to Eastern Wei
十四年，冬十一月，遣使入東魏朝貢。
In the fourteenth year, in winter, the eleventh month, an envoy was sent to enter Eastern Wei and bring tribute.
14The fifteenth year — King Anwon dies
十五年，春三月，王薨，號為安原王。
In the fifteenth year, in spring, the third month, the king died. He was called King Anwon (安原王).
Interlinear notes 1
是梁大同十一年，東魏武定三年也。《梁書》云：「安原以大淸二年卒，以其子為寧東將軍高句麗王樂浪公。」誤也。
This was the eleventh year of Datong of Liang and the third year of Wuding of Eastern Wei. The Liang shu says, "Anwon died in the second year of Daqing, and his son was made General Who Quiets the East, King of Goguryeo, and Duke of Lelang." That is wrong.
