In the reign of the fifty-fourth king, King Gyeongmyeong, in the fifth year of Zhenming, the year muin, the dog painted on the wall of Sacheonwangsa barked.

For three days sutras were expounded to drive it off, but after little more than half a day it barked again.

In the seventh year, the year gyeongjin, in the second month, the shadow of the pagoda of Hwangnyongsa stood upside down for a whole month in the courtyard of the house of Geummo of the rank of saji.

Again, in the tenth month, the bowstrings of the spirits of the five directions at Sacheonwangsa all snapped, and the dog painted on the wall came out, ran about the courtyard, and went back into the wall.
